Hexagon | NovAtel has released an update for their Waypoint Post-Processing Software portfolio including Inertial Explorer, Inertial Explorer Xpress and GrafNav/GrafNav Static with significant processing improvements for PPP-AR and differential processing (PPK) users. These enhancements include reducing multi-base differential processing times by up to 90% and lowering memory usage for differential or PPK processing.
Waypoint’s PPP-AR engine now offers full frequency support for better availability of high-quality PPP computed points in a user’s final trajectory and improvements to convergence and reconvergence time.
Users relying on multiple base stations while running differential processing, or PPK, can now specify the maximum number of baselines to use at any point in time. This update drastically reduces processing times by up to 90% when processing large areas or longer datasets. The burden on the user’s computer and memory usage has also decreased with this update.
In addition to these significant enhancements for PPP-AR and differential processing engines, the latest update enables HxGN SmartNet subscribers to choose lower data rates for better control over data quota usage of SmartNet base station data.
The 9.00.2207 version includes the following updates:
