Hexagon | NovAtel announces Version 10.00.2409 of its Waypoint Post-Processing Software Portfolio
17 April 2025Hexagon | NovAtel has released an update for their Waypoint Post-Processing Software portfolio including Inertial Explorer, Inertial Explorer Xpress and GrafNav/GrafNav Static with significant improvements to the new satellite map window.
General performance improvements and new tools for measuring and navigating data on the satellite map enrich the context of post-processing projects when processing and performing visual quality control.
In addition to these satellite map enhancements, the latest update deepens integration of HxGN SmartNet into Waypoint, allowing subscribers to leverage their SmartNet base station data with increased ease and control.
Version 10.00.2409 includes the following updates:
- New tools for the satellite map window add the ability to search for epochs, measure distance and azimuth, view map scale, and add satellite map views to exported HTML reports.
- Various improvements to HxGN SmartNet integration, including support for SmartNet stations in the Favourites Manager and improved performance in the base station download utility
- Ability to rotate feature attitude values into user-defined frames at export
- Command Line Interface (CLI) enhancements including configuration of export interval by time or distance travelled, improved HxGN SmartNet coordinate handling, and improved base station data download robustness.
- Other bug fixes and improvements

This software update is available to all existing Waypoint customers with a valid term license or perpetual license within the support period. Users can update their Waypoint software through the application by going to the Help tab and clicking ‘Check for updates.’
Users without an active Waypoint 10.00-based license can request an update by visiting the Waypoint Software Upgrade page.
